Do you love your smartphone and tablet so much your laptop gets jealous?  Have you recently retired?  Then this is for you!  The COA would welcome tech savvy seniors to help peers with tech questions.  Assist those who want to connect with loved ones over Facetime or other video formats.  Answer basic questions on operation and open up a whole new world for someone.  Will also provide training to motivated individuals.  Goal to create a formalized, peer led, tech guidance program.

Are you organized and creative?  We need you!  We have an opportunity for regular volunteer hours to revamp our greeting card program.   The candidate would be able to design greeting cards using recycled cards and teach others how to use the same model.  The goal is to produce quality, unique cards, and a thriving program.  If you are a creative leader looking for your next project, contact the Commission on Aging. 

NEEDED: Volunteers to deliver Meals on Wheels 2-4 days per month to homebound senior citizens in the Hastings area. Meals are delivered near lunch time, Monday through Friday. GUARANTEED: Satisfaction in knowing you're bringing food and dignity to older adults who've brought so much love to others.
