North Country Trail Association; Chief Noonday Chapter

The NCTA is the on-the-ground partner of the National Park Service for this Trail. Headquartered in Lowell, MI, we have 9 staff (some part-time), and over 2400 members, with about a third of them reporting volunteer time last year. Locally, the Chief Noonday Chapter has responsibility for Trail in Barry, Kalamazoo, and Calhoun Counties. We have several programs each year for youth outreach, hoping to get kids outside.

The North Country Trail Association develops, maintains, protects, and promotes the North Country National Scenic Trail as the premier hiking path across the northern tier of the United States through a trail-wide coalition of volunteers and partners.
