Who We Are

Reverence Hospice provides quality end-of-life care to patients with terminal illness and support to their caregivers and family.

Reverence Home Health and Hospice is a division of Ascension at Home, and affiliated with Borgess Hospital. We were previously known as the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA), and we date back to 1963 in the Kalamazoo area.

With our offices located in Portage, we are able to service a 9 state region of southwest Michigan including Allegan, Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph and Van Buren counties.

What We Do

Reverence Hospice provides quality care to patients with terminal illness and support to their caregivers and family.

At Reverence, we depend on our staff of trained hospice Volunteers to help us provide the love, respect, acceptance and care that our patients and their families need.  Volunteers receive 6-8 hours of training and spend 1-4 hours/week walking along side patients and their families at a very unique time in their lives. Sometimes it is to just sit and listen to validate a life well lived. Sometimes it is to provide time for family members to run errands or seek much needed rest. You will find it is truly a privilege to serve others in this friendship experience!

Hours are flexible. Rewards are eternal!
